Thank you and the staff for the care, comfort, and support, not only for my dad, but for our family. We were blown away by all you do!

Grieving a Loss?
Hospice of the Piedmont Can Help.

It’s hard to let go when someone you love dies. We know what that’s like. The oldest and most experienced hospice in the region, we are with your terminally ill loved one every step of the way with expert, compassionate pain control and symptom management, celebrating quality—not quantity—of life. Because we’re the only local, community-based, nonprofit hospice, we are also with you and your loved ones every step of the way after a patient’s death, helping you deal with your loss in our ongoing, uplifting grief support programs, activities, groups, and events.

Our Center for Grief & Healing provides the bereaved—whether their loved one was in our hospice program or not—with an understanding and supportive environment to process and heal their grief for a full year after a death. Our compassionate and eye-opening support groups, events, classes, and workshops for adults, teens, and children encourage a healthy adjustment to feelings of loss. Our hospice and grief support services are available to patients, their loved ones, and community members at no cost.
