HOP's Music by the Bedside program brings the beauty of instrumental and vocal music into the lives and homes of Hospice of the Piedmont patients. This program allows skilled music practitioners to play customized, soothing music for patients living in the Hospice House and the Center for Acute Hospice Care, nursing homes and assisted living facilities, and in private homes, as requested. The program is led by Program Coordinator Kate Tamarkin, a Certified Music Practitioner trained specifically to provide music to seriously ill and dying patients in a variety of private and clinical settings.
