Join Us
We are delighted to extend an invitation to you, your family, and friends for our 33rd Annual Memorial Illumination. In this season of peace, our purpose is connection with our community through the Memorial Illumination – making for a special event symbolic of healing and remembrance.
The Memorial Illumination events will feature a program with live music, reflective moments, and refreshments and are free and open to the public, regardless of Hospice of the Piedmont affiliation.
To celebrate the lives of those you’d like to honor and remember, we invite you to contribute $20 or more to sponsor a light. For every light you sponsor, an e-card card can be shared to let family and friends know about the light given in their loved one’s name. If you’d prefer to mail a tribute card to your designee, please email our team at gift@hopva.org to request your card(s).
*As of November 19, we will no longer be able to include tribute names in the printed program book. However, we still welcome you to honor and remember your loved ones. You will have the option to send an e-card, or, if preferred, we can provide a tribute card for you to send to your recipient.
Your contributions support us in our work to provide compassionate end-of-life care and comprehensive grief services to our community – bringing peace and resolution to our neighbors and purpose and meaning to our mission.
We hope you will help us remember and honor loved ones during this year’s Memorial Illumination helping to make this year shine brighter than ever. Thank you for your support.
