Hospice of the Piedmont’s Center for Acute Hospice Care has been honored to be a meaningful part of so many families’ journeys. The Center will stop accepting new admissions after August 15, 2025, and will officially close on August 31. We will continue to provide General Inpatient (GIP) care in local hospitals, offer in-home Continuous Care for acute needs, and support families with Respite Care through our community partners. These services ensure that expert hospice support remains available across our entire 12-county region. We are deeply grateful to the dedicated staff who have served at the CAHC and to the many families who entrusted us with their care.
