Betty Strawhorn comes to Hospice of the Piedmont with more than 20 years of experience as a registered nurse. Ms. Strawhorn previously served in the dual role of nurse practitioner and RN case manager for Kindred Hospice Care. She has worked in hospice care since 2006. She received her advanced practice RN certificate in Palliative Care from California State University. She also has her Master of Nursing – APRN, FNP, degree from University of South Carolina, her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing, and her Associates degree in Applied Science in Nursing from Wallace College, Dothan, Ala.
