Jennifer Dumrauf is a board-certified Advanced Practice Nurse specializing in palliative medicine and hospice care. Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, she earned her undergraduate and master’s degrees in nursing from Northern Illinois University and holds an ACHPN certification. With nearly 22 years of experience as an APN, Jennifer has spent the last 18 years dedicated to palliative care and hospice.

In Chicagoland, Jennifer played a pivotal role in developing palliative care programs in acute care settings and facilities while providing clinical care and education to both providers and the community. She has served in leadership roles, supporting interdisciplinary teams and designing onboarding and clinical education programs for MDs, APNs, RNs, and social workers.

Jennifer now resides in Crozet with her husband and two sons. Outside work, she enjoys swimming, walking her dogs, painting, reading, and gardening.
