Director of Major Gifts

Lauri Wilson joined Hospice of the Piedmont in 2024. She brings forty years of marketing and development experience to the organization. Before joining Hospice of the Piedmont, Ms. Wilson served as Director of Development for The Paramount Theater and prior to that was part of the Martha Jefferson Hospital Foundation development team. As part of the Hospice of the Piedmont family, she will focus her endeavors on furthering relationships with major donors while continuing to grow the endowment to ensure that quality end-of-life and grief services are available for all today, tomorrow, and well into the future. Ms. Wilson feels it’s a privilege to be in a position of stewarding the gifts the organization receives while ensuring philanthropy provides an ongoing meaningful impact to patients, families, and the greater community. She and her husband live in Charlottesville with their mischievous golden retriever Cooper. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her three grands, distance running with friends, and visiting the beautiful blue ridge mountains. Ms. Wilson can be reached at lauri.wilson@hopva.org.
