Leigh Cantrell

Dr. Leigh Cantrell is a is a gynecologic oncologist at UVA Health, specializing in robotic surgery. Her clinical focus is treating women with gynecologic malignancies, specifically uterine, cervical, and ovarian cancers. She serves as the UVA Comprehensive Cancer Center’s Service Line Leader and Associate Director for clinical Affairs. She also serves as Executive Vice- Chair and Interim Division Director of the Gynecologic Oncology Division in the Department of Obstetrics &Gynecology. She is actively involved in national clinical trials.. Outside her clinical work, Dr. Cantrell is passionate about mentoring medical students and other physicians. She also volunteers for national boards, including the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Society for Gynecologic Oncology.
