Chief of Business Development and Access

Liz Lee joined Hospice of the Piedmont in May 2025 as Chief of Business Development and Access. She brings over 15 years of hospice leadership experience in clinical care, operations, and compliance. She is dedicated to expanding timely access to high-quality end-of-life services across Central Virginia.

Before coming to Hospice of the Piedmont, Liz served as Hospice Director at Augusta Health, where she guided program expansion and strengthened clinical quality. Her earlier roles include Hospice Regional Director for Sentara Health, Operations Manager for Celtic Healthcare, and Clinical Supervisor at Hospice of the Sacred Heart. Her work has focused on compliance, performance improvement, and building interdisciplinary teams that deliver exceptional patient and family experiences.

Liz holds a Master of Healthcare Administration from Purdue Global and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Penn State University. She is a Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN), carries the NHPCO Hospice Compliance Certification, and is an ACHC-certified consultant. In her free time, she enjoys spending time in nature with her husband and two grown children.
